The majority of the environmental business of the Dublin-headquartered distribution group DCC is in the UK.  It is planning to dispose of its environmental service division for €200m. Any disposal could be concluded by the end of the company’s financial year. While DCC Environmental includes Enva, one of the largest hazardous waste companies in Ireland, the vast majority of its business is in the UK. British trade buyers and private equity companies are expected to lead the bidding for the business.
