e-waste who creates the most?

Here are a few facts that just puts the problem of e-waste into perspective

  1. The United States produces the largest total amount of e-waste per year, at 7.1 million tonnes
  2. Norway generates the most e-waste per person, at 28.3 lg per capita
  3. African nations produce little e-waste
  4. China ranks second behind the USA generating 6 million tonnes of e-waste

What is really interesting is that most electronic waste from the “Developed World” ends up in poor nations that lack regulation. China processed 70% of the World’s e-waste and the rest goes to India, eastern Asia and Africa.
