ICO: UK must adopt EU data protection regulations

Last Thursday’s EU Referendum saw UK voters favouring an exit from the European Union and now the ICO has issued a statement saying: “The Data Protection Act remains the law of the land irrespective of the referendum result.”  This means that if we want to continue the trade relationship we currently have with the EU then we must adhere to any data protection regulations made by the union that we are no longer a part of.

Whether in or out, adhering to the Data Protection Act is a must for all, it is therefore important to use an experienced, data destruction business like Secure Data Recycling to dispose of your confidential information.
