Medical records on misplaced data stick

This happened a while ago, back in 2009, but a health worker in Lancashire lost a memory stick containing the medical details of more than 6,000 prisoners and ex-prisoners from HMP Preston, according to the BBC.

The data was encrypted, but the password had been written on a note which was attached to the stick when it was misplaced.

What Secure Data Recycling can do is help you train your staff and monitor the movement of Assets while they are used and when the are finally destroyed.

You cannot be too careful or stories like this will occur again and again.
