Q1 WEEE data shows rising collection rate

The Environment  Agency have published data showing that the UK has made progress towards meeting its WEEE recycling target in the first quarter of 2016.

The provisional data, shows that a total of 141,379 tonnes of all categories of WEEE were collected for recycling between January and April 2016.

Overall, the target for the collection of 544,341 tonnes of WEEE has been set for the year, which means that a quarterly collection rate of 136,085 tonnes will need to be achieved for the target to be met.

So far so good !

Ensure that you’re doing your bit to meet these targets by using a Company such as Secure Data Recycling to recycle your WEEE.
