Printed Circuit Boards are full of electronic components, many of the older PCB’s contained Capacitors and Transformers that contained polychlorinated biphenyls.

These old style capacitors and transformers are largely discontinued but other components still contain hazardous chemicals.  Printed Circuit Boards and the components soldered onto them need to be recycled by experts such as those at Secure Data Recycling.
