Unauthorised Access to Data

Unauthorised Access to data:

Accidentally, negligently or purposefully allowing access to information to individuals who are not properly authorised.  Incidents of unauthorised access are considered a violation of the information destruction policy; therefore, requiring a violation report be completed.

There is food for thought, who do you allow to see certain data?

Before the likes of Secure Data Recycling get involved, you need to make sure that only people with the correct level of screening and authorisation, get to see different types of data within your organisation.

For example, HR does not need to see Research and development papers and Engineers do not need to see HR records.

Secure Data Recycling will help you create your Data management policy and build awareness of the importance of proper data management within your company or organisation.
