This is only a short blog but very important….make sure your old electronic and computer equipment is processed by a FULLY approved WEEE contractor such as Secure Data Recycling.

It is your responsibility! If the partner you select is not FULLY approved or does not actually follow the WEEE Directive you could still be breaking the law.

You responsibility does not end when you hand over your old piece of IT to someone else, make sure you have full traceability on every item and don’t cut corners, take the WEEE Directive seriously or fines could come your way.
