Why do some recyclers accept computers, but not monitors?

Some electronics, including color Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) computer monitors, contain “hazardous” material. So they are subject to special handling requirements, meaning not all recycling facilities are properly equipped for handling them.

Secure Data Recycling have all the necessary accreditations and equipment to manage the disposal of all types of computers and monitors.
