Last year the UK government dismissed proposals for binding new EU goals to cut waste and improve recycling.

The Government said “We feel that a greater emphasis needs to be given to other measures such as voluntary agreements with industry and incentives to reward behavioural changes”

Perhaps it was a show of what was to come with the UK not in agreement with Europe circular economy ideals.

It will be interesting in 2017 to see what targets are set in the UK and how that will affect companies such as Secure Data Recycling
